Ya, the more recent ones are pretty much amazing. Not that the early ones aren't, but these have more interesting and less predicatable story lines. Anyone read any of her other series? I happened to find an interesting connection in her Ghostwalker series and was wonering if anyone else may have noticed.

I have read all her books....and I can honestly say I love all of them. I am eagerly awaiting her new book which is another Drake sister novel.
Depends whats the connection you are talking about?

I didn't catch it right away but the whole "Whitney" conspiracy, how he bought the girls and enhanced them. Well she still hasn't said who all of the girls are right? Well Raven was originally Raven Whitney. I haven't read Dark Prince in a while, so I don't remember her back ground. I guess it could be a coincidence, but I like to think it's not. There are a couple others, but that's the one that has been bugging me.
Haven't read the Drake Sisters yet, which is the first book in that series?

Hmmm you know that is interesting. Its been awhile since I read Dark Prince myself. I may have to re-read it to see what it says about Raven's background, but that would be an interesting connection. Still I don't know I guess it would depend on the timing wouldn't it? After all I think Raven is somewhere in her 60's or so maybe a little older....that could possibly make her an aunt or something of Peter Whitney I suppose. However, I think she says in the first book that Peter was an only child and that his parents were only children as well. As for Raven possibly being one of the "children" that he experimented on that one I would find a little harder to go with. Simply because that would put the books for the Carpathian series at least 30 to 40 years in the future, but maybe who knows.
The first two stories for the Drake sisters were novellas and right off the top of my head I couldn't tell you what they were in. The first full length she did for the Drake sisters was Oceans of Fire.

I don't think that Raven is anywhere near her 60's when Mikhail finds her. She is human and the way she is described she seems quite young. I don't know when Shadow Game is supposed to have taken place, but with Dark Prince being somewhere in the late 80's early 90's it's possible that Raven had something to do with one of Peter Whitney's experiments. There are just many things about her that match up with the experiences of the others who we know were experimented on. Like how when she is at the inn and has trouble controlling the "bombardment of emotions" she gets headaches from them and she talks about how the use of her psy abilities are killing her.

I am not saying she was in her 60's when Mikhail finds her I am saying she is in her 60s in the present.....and here is why...
Well she is in her mid 20's when Dark Prince takes place and it is at least seven years later when Dark Desire takes place. That would put her in her early to mid 30's. Then you have about 26 years between Dark Desire and Dark Magic because Savannah is her daughter. So that would actually put her in her 60's (present day) if she was 35 when Dark Desire took place.
I would argue that Dark Prince probably takes place in the late 70's because if it took place in the late 80's that would put the story line about 2015 to 2025 or somewhere around there for the Dark series. Which would make her 15 to 20 years older than the "Ghostwalker" girls.

Ah ok...I understand your logic now. Except that Dark Prince takes place late 70's. Christine has actually said that it takes place in the 80's-90's area on her site.
"Dark Prince, I have taking place in the 1980’s-1990’s. Give or take, personal computers didn’t take hold until the late 70’s early 80’s. That’s how Mikhail states he gets his work done." '
But I still see that she may be too old to be one of the "Ghostwalker girls" even though we don't know when Shadow Game takes place. My first instinct would be for it to be taking place very recently because of some of the equipment, but then again it is the military so who knows what they actually had in the 80's-90's era.
I've been looking more into this and I don't this she is one of the "girls" either. According to Christine, and who knows better right, Raven's parents thought her a demon and she had to survive on her own. But perhaps she is a lost sister or something to Whitney. I mean the man had to get his inspiration from somewhere.

Well that is true she did say that. I had forgotten about reading that on her site. *shrugs* I suppose there is a possibilityof her being one of the girls for Whitney's experiment. LOL I dunno....I don't analyze I just read and enjoy.....

Charlene.....yeah wasn't Dark Demon great.....I had been waiting for that one for awhile ever since I read Dark Destiny. *SPOILER* However, what was up with the end and what happened between Gregori and Mikhail? That was kinda weird......
Yeah I think Dark Celebration will be awesome.....I wonder if its going to have all the characters or if it will only be a select few?
Looks like the next one will be Manolito and MaryAnn (the one from Dark Destiny?)
Also do you think she is going to to do Skyler's story anytime soon? I know she has a list of whats coming out next year, but I am hoping that she has a story for her soon.....I think how Gabrial(sp?) handles her finding her lifemate will be interesting.

I'm DYING to read Skyler's story but it seems Mrs Feehan isn't ready to write that particular story, unlike the quick age progression she did for Savannah for Gregory, from what 'I've read she wants Skyler to age a little slower in the world. Still that will be a book I will stand at the store the day its released!
